What is "timeshare"?
A Cabana timeshare is the right to use a specific week(s) at the Cabana Club Condominium during the year. We have a timeshare calendar that our owners use to determine when they will be using their timeshare week(s). Cabana timeshare ownership is deeded which means it is a property that is owned outright forever. It is real estate that can be sold or willed to your heirs.
The Cabana owners annually elect a board, made up of owners, which works with the management company (Vacationville). The board establishes the annual maintenance fees to maintain the property. Our owners receive a quarterly maintenance fee billing. Owners must be current in these dues in order to utilize their timeshare week.
What are the benefits of owning a timeshare?
As an owner, a Cabana timeshare allows you a very inexpensive vacation in a very desirable location in Washington state.
When you arrive, you walk into a completely, clean, furnished unit, ready to be enjoyed. Our timeshare units are condominium style featuring completely furnished kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms.
This type of ownership also encourages you to enjoy a break away from the fast pace of life.
If you are not able to use your week, you can allow family or friends to enjoy your timeshare week.
Cabana is a member of Interval International which allows timeshare exchanges worldwide.
Also, there are other timeshare exchange organizations, such as Platinum Interchange, which you can utilize to exchange around the world. Platinum Interchange does not charge an annual membership fee.
You are welcome to rent your week or exchange your week with another owner if you have a conflict with your specific timeshare week.
Is there an annual meeting of the owners?
Yes, the annual meeting is held annually in the fall. All owners are invited to attend, however, proxy by mail is also used for those not in attendance.
